Office fit out and refurbishment company Ultimate (Commercial Interiors) ltd recently completed a project for Leeds-based agency We Are Boutique, a communications agency specialising in Media, Digital and PR with a client list including Ebuyer.com and Costcutter. Ultimate’s client list is just as impressive featuring companies such as Leeds Building Society, Mercure Hotels and GlaxoSmithKline. With a project duration of just four weeks, Ultimate were tasked by We Are Boutique to create an office space fit for their employees and clients with a unique cinema/boutique hotel themed design. The project included the installation of solid partitions, feature MF ceilings, glazed partitions with glass doors and manifestation, wall panelling, electrical reconfiguration, installation of feature lighting and interior and exterior signage.

Lighting is a really important consideration when planning a new office space. Lack of lighting can lead to tiredness, headache, eye strain and reduce the ability for the employee to focus. With the brief of creating a unique cinema/boutique hotel themed design in mind, aside from natural lighting, Ultimate’s use of theatre style lamps on tripods in the break out area creates a feeling of warmth and a comfortable environment to work in whilst positively helping to achieve the intended design plan.
A carefully thought out layout is a key contributor to a productive working environment. With break out spaces ideal for informal team discussions alongside a more formal boardroom setting perfect for meeting clients in and an open plan office space.
